About Aggieland Medical Billing Service AMBS was founded in February of 2004 after medical health professionals expressed their need for an affordable out-sourced insurance billing specialist capable of managing, processing, and collecting insurance claims for their practice or multi-specialty clinic. It is recognized that many people performing billing services for our medical professionals are not providing the best service to obtain the best return on the claims filed. Based on these facts, it was decided to form AMBS in order to educate a staff in properly coding and filing medical claims and to competently follow up on denied claims. This expertise has enabled AMBS to provide a much higher percentage yield of paid claims to medical health professionals. The AMBS staff has 20 years experience in claims processing on the insurance side. This knowledge encompasses a multitude of roles in the billing profession including knowledge of the pitfalls surrounding medical coding and how to avoid them. Continuing education allows AMBS to provide the connection necessary with insurance companies in order to provide better return for our clientele. |
